The increasing number of seals is no reason for increase of number to be hunted. The human population grows every year. Does this mean its time for a genocide?

Please let the world know that humans have the amazing capability of inven- tion such as: simulated fur that is very, very warm, eating very little animal flesh and more vegetables and fruits, seed, nuts, legumes, etc., keep us very healthy and mentally very well, and finally living with common sense, compassion, empathy, reasoning, and wisdom, and proper moral conduct, plus limiting our human population, we could see once more a world low in pollution, respectful marriages, clean forests, air and waters flourishing with God's beautiful animals that will fill our souls with riches.Life can be beautiful is one thinks wisely, and not be taken in by conformity, greed, lust and self- ishness. Humans should have the mental- lity to find anothe means of survival than to harm and kill all the beautiful wildlife for humans to admire and learn from. My only wish is that if the humans that will not appreciate God's Creation, meant to share this planet with humans, then let these humans be eradicated off the face of the earth, then peace and happiness will come.

Je ne comprend pas pourquoi, un pays se disant civilisé, peut encore être capable de participer à ce massacre. carmen

I would like to know why does the Department of Fisheries and Ocean have the right to kill these animal, is it because they are on canadian land. I thought the seals or all the animal in the ocean belong to nobody and they are free to use the land. The land is big enough for everybody and there are enough fish for the animal and us human.
