Video taken on February 21, 2008 at Hay Island. The government of Nova Scotia colluded with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans to allow Nova Scotian fishermen to enter onto Hay Island, part of the Scaterie Island Protected Wilderness Area, and slaughter up to 2,500 grey seal pups. In just three days, over 1,260 grey seal pups were slaughtered using practices condemned by the EFSA in their recent Report to the European Commission.
